JCI Basel TakeAwayS – from virtual to physical

After a long depressive shutdown Winter, flowers were blossoming, the sun was shining and the spring was around the corner. BAG relaxed the Covid restrictions to meet outside with maximum of 15 people. JCI Basel AK Training International team snapped this great opportunity to organize the first version of the new format TakeAwayS event on 12th March 2020. Fourteen JCI Basel members met near the picturesque Rhine river close to Schmale Wurf.

The pairing was done from the most Senior JCI Basel Member to the most Junior member of JCI Basel to know each other very well. The looping routes and questions (based on the decision tree) to be asked was given to each of the team members before they started with knowing about each other. Thanks to the currently high volume of take away opportunities in Basel which were open and made the event even more colorful during these tough and unprecedented times.

Following the virtual Beer tasting event, now with the TakeAwayS event: AK Training International is planning to repeat the TakeAwayS event since many of the JCI Basel members couldn’t participate in the first edition with the maximum cap of 15 members. The TakeAwayS event was filled out within six hours of the posting, which showed the keen interest of JCI Basel members and innovative idea of the event.
