JCI Take-Aways 2024

On May 23rd, JCI Basel organized the yearly event named „Take-Aways,“ designed to foster connections among members, both old and new. The event featured a unique and engaging format, combining a casual walk, structured conversation starters, and a convivial dinner.

The event commenced with JCI members and a few new members gathering for drinks. 

 Participants were paired in groups of two to three and embarked on a short walking route. During this walk, they engaged in conversations using pre-prepared ice breaker questions. This structured approach ensured that everyone had the opportunity to participate in interesting and fun conversations.

After each round of conversation, pairs were rotated, allowing members to interact with a variety of individuals. 

Following the walking activity, the group proceeded to Klaras for dinner. The participants enjoyed additional drinks and further deepen the connections established during the walk.

The „Take-Aways“ event was highly successful in achieving its goal of bringing members together in a fun and interactive manner. The combination of structured conversation and casual dining created a perfect balance, ensuring that new members felt welcomed and integrated into the JCI community. 

Overall, the „Take-Aways“ event exemplified JCI’s commitment to fostering personal connections and professional networking in a friendly and supportive environment.
